PRODUCT ORDER AND CONSUMER PROTECTION

Placing an order through the online store is a conclusion of a distance selling contract. Possibility of concluding a valid order through the e-shop, you have if you are legally competent, observing the articles of the Greek Civil Code, (if you have reached the age of eighteen and you are not in court support regarding the conclusion of a sales contract). Orders can also be placed by representatives of legal entities, while the company reserves the right to claim from the supervisor or guardian any orders that will be made by legally incompetent persons.

In order to place an order, a special form must be filled in with the necessary information and acceptance of the terms of the sales contract and the terms of use.

The consumer is informed by the company before completing his order about the essential characteristics of the product, the price, the quantity, the shipping costs, the method of payment, delivery, the validity period and the price of the possible offer and the right of withdrawal.

Upon sending the order form, the consumer receives an online copy of the order, which he can save.

Product Guarantees

All products sold through esmartshop.gr are covered by a guarantee of good operation according to the following cases:

  • New products with packaging – 2-year warranty
  • New products without packaging (bulk) – 1 year warranty
  • Refurbished products – 6 months warranty
  • Batteries (including batteries that are part of another product) – 6 months

The product warranty does not apply in the following cases:

  • The product has been hit (1), dropped, burned, contacted with liquids (2), used with an unauthorized power supply or battery, tampered with by an unauthorized technician, or abused in any way and against any instructions. of its use.
  • The warranty excludes software failures other than those that existed from construction and those that came from an automated upgrade of the factory operating system.

Products that will be returned within the warranty may:

  • Repaired
  • Replace with own (if available)
  • Credit to the customer the amount with which they were purchased in order to purchase other products of his choice, from the online store esmartshop.gr

Third Party Guarantees

Products that have a representative / manufacturer warranty have a corresponding mark on the product page in the online store esmartshop.gr and the terms of the respective representative / manufacturer apply to them. Esmartshop.gr can undertake the free mediation and distribution of the product from / to the dealer / manufacturer, if the product has been purchased from esmartshop.gr, but it is recommended that the customer communicate directly with the dealer / manufacturer to save time.

Repair Guarantees

All appliance repairs (except warranty and independent supplier) are covered by a 3-month free warranty for the damage repaired.

  • The warranty covers the repair service and spare parts.
  • Spare parts that are individual products (eg hard drives, monitors, etc.) are covered by the product warranty as described above.
  • Software problems, such as viruses and malware, are not covered by the warranty.
  • Damage to your device that is not related to the repair is not covered by the warranty.
  • The warranty expires if:
    • Liquids falling into the device (2)
    • The device falls, breaks or is hit in any way (1)
    • Remove the safety tape (3)
  • If your device suffers the same damage under this warranty we are obliged to:
    • We receive your device (you can send it through a cooperating courier at our expense after consultation)
    • Repair the damage
    • We extend by 1 month your guarantee
  • In case of inability to repair within warranty, we will refund the cost of the repair (not the spare parts), while also recycling options are given with monetary compensation after consultation.

(1) Excludes products with anti-vibration protection and in accordance with the specifications and instructions for use of the product

(2) Excludes products with waterproof certification and products without electrical / electronic / mechanical parts

(3) A protective sticker is affixed to all repaired devices to prove that the device has not been violated by third parties. Software repairs are excluded.

Returns policy

The customer has the right to return the products he bought from the online store esmartshop.gr. Transportation costs are borne by esmartshop.gr in the following cases:

  1. When, through the fault of esmartshop.gr, wrong products were sold (error in receiving the order, in the invoicing, in the shipment, damaged during transport or with poor packaging). The customer has the right not to receive the product from the courier company. When the order has been made incorrectly, the customer must return the product in excellent condition, sealed, complete and without any damage.
  2. When the product sold had an operational problem / was defective which is covered by the guarantee given by esmartshop.gr. This category does not include cases where the product warranty is covered by the manufacturer or dealer.

In order to be able to return and replace the products should

  • Contact the online store the same or the next working day.
  • The product must not have been used
  • The product must be accompanied by all documents proving the transaction.

In any case, the customer has the right to return the products within 14 days from the date of receipt. The products must be in excellent condition complete and without damage and must be accompanied by all the documents that accompanied the product (warranty) In this case, you will be charged the stated cost of returning the products.

In case of return of the products, the refund corresponding to the cost of the products, will be completed within 30 days from the date that esmartshop.gr will receive the returned products. The refund will be made in the same way as it was paid. In case of cash on delivery, the refund will be made by deposit in the customer’s account.

In case the products are not returned within 14 days of their delivery, esmartshop.gr may not accept their return and replacement.

The company ensures that the packaging of the products is careful so that it is received without damage.
